Elève d’Albert KRAFFT, professeur d’accordéon au Conservatoire Nationale de Musique de Mulhouse et musicologue averti, de renommée nationale
et internationale, j’ai obtenu le 1er prix dudit Conservatoire et également gagné quelques concours régionaux et nationaux d’accordéon.
Accordéoniste amateur, j’ai régulièrement exercé les week-ends dans les dancings et bals de la région de 16 à 25 ans. Je jouais également du Bandonéon et un peu de Sax ténor. Après un arrêt quasi définitif de la pratique des instruments pendant une période de 15 ans, pour raisons professionnelles, j’ai repris l’accordéon, sans prestations publiques, lors de la relance de l’Accordéon Club Mulhouse 34 en 1981.
L’Accordéon Club Mulhouse 34 est le plus ancien club de France.
Club inactif depuis 1961, quelques anciens élèves d’Albert KRAFFT, relancèrent son activité en 1981, après le décès de leur Maître.
Depuis 1981 j’en suis le Président. Et depuis 1988, j’assume également la direction.
En 2000, année de ma mise à la retraite, je reprends du service musical et me consacre à l’enregistrement de CD.

Le Club a été créé le 19 mai 1934 par Monsieur Paul LAMPEL (1er Président) et Monsieur E. BLATNER de Bâle (1er Directeur).

- 1950 PARIS concours international – 1er prix d’excellence avec coupe – maximum de points – toutes catégories avec la plus haute distinction
- 1953 KANDERN (Allemagne) concours international – 1er prix d’excellence avec très bien
Le dernier succès remporté par le Club fût la COUPE DE FRANCE de l’ORTF 1962.
Depuis 1981, l’activité du Club se limite aux anciens élèves avec quelques petites prestations publiques.
Pupil of Albert KRAFFT, professor of accordion to the Academy of Music of MULHOUSE and experienced musicologist, of national and international renown, I obtained the 1st price of the aforesaid Academy, and also won some regional and national contests of accordion.
Amateur Accordionist , I regulary exerted the weekends in the dance halls and balls of the area from 16 to 25 years. I also played bandonion and a little Sax tenor. After an almost definitive stop of the practice of the instruments during one period of 15 years, for professional reasons, I took again the accordion, without public services, at the revival of the " ACCORDION CLUB MULHOUSE 34 " in 1981.
The ACCORDION CLUB MULHOUSE 34 is the oldest club of FRANCE.
Inactive club since 1961, some Albert KRAFFT's alumni, started again his activity in 1981, after the death of their Master.
Since 1981, I am the President. And since 1988, I assume also the Direction.
In 2000, year of the stop of my professional life, I take again musical service and devotes me to the recording of my "CD".

The Club has been created on May 19, 1934 by Mr Paul LAMPEL (1st President) and Mr E.BLATNER (1st Director) of BASLE - Switzerland.
1st Concert on the Palace of the Feasts in MULHOUSE in 1935.
In 1940, Dissolution by Germans.
In 1945, the Club is born again with as Director : Albert KRAFFT.

- 1949 PARIS international contest - 1st price of excellence with CUP
- 1949 SPA (Belgium) WORLD CUP - 1st price all categories with CUP
- 1949 NEUCHATEL (Swiss) international contest - 1st price d'honnor with CUP
- 1949 BELFORT interregional contest - 1st price of excellence with CUP - 1st price for the Direction
- 1950 BESANCON international contest - 1st price of excellence with CUP - classified "out contest"
- 1950 PARIS international contest - 1st price of excellence with CUP - maximum of points - all categories with the highest distinction
- 1953 KANDERN (Germany) international contest - 1st price of excellence with mention "very well"
The last success gained by the Club was the CUP of FRANCE 1962 of "ORTF" (television)
Since 1981, the Club's activity limits itself to the alumni with a few small public services.
